Ok, so we’re taking a break from the quilting videos. Today is on homemade baby wipes! These are so easy to make, you’ll feel good about using them since they are more environmentally friendly, and they are soft on your wallet! I’m so thankful I heard about this recipe.

Here’s the recipe so you can write it down and go make them!
1/2 roll of paper towels (I like the 1/2 sheets)
2 cups water
3 Tbsp baby oil
2 Tbsp head to toe baby soap
Mix water, oil, and soap in container. Dunk the paper towel, flip, and pull out the cardboard center. Pull wipes from the center.
Elias has never had any kind of bum rash, and these wipes are all I use on him. You will know when the wipes go bad…they smell kind of like dirty socks…it has only happened once to me…
Let me know if you have any other questions!
GOL Ingrid, you are one fantastic lady! I am SO forwarding this post to all of my Mommy friends out there! 🙂
I am so trying this with Baby #2! Thanks!
I use these ALL the time since first discovering your recipe a while back, and love them as well. I do take the inside core out before getting them wet–it seems to just slide out. Also, they travel GREAT in a zip-lock bag. We just got back from Virginia, and everyone loved them.
