After MONTHS of searching, hoping, and praying, we have finally found our home! I could not be happier!! It is a funky little house on 10 acres right next to my in-laws in the town that I grew up in. How great is that?! Plus it already has a chicken coop! I must be dreaming.

Tonight is our first night with internet since we’ve moved in and I am so excited to show you our place. The house has some cool character and it is very chalet like with all of the snow we have.

Speaking of snow, I finally pulled my snowshoes out again. I think it has been over 5 years. Shame, shame. {Elias loves to wear my pink “INGRID” hat from when I was little. Childhood handknits. Love.}

There is a grand fireplace which we hope will help heat the house.

Kitchen cupboards were removed to help open up the space.

The bathroom shower was removed and replaced.  Oh yes that needed to be done.   g.r.o.s.s.

I am a busy girl around here as we demo and rebuild.  I took a trip to IKEA today and have lofty goals…  Each day a little more gets crossed off the list.  I’ll keep you updated.  Oh, and I think I better get that chicken order in soon!  wooohooo! Feels good to be a homeowner again!!
