I started a new knitting project a couple nights ago. It is called Beautiful Moss/Seed Stitch baby hat found on Ravelry. This is the picture from Ravelry–I think it is so sweet!
For my hat I am using a lovely organic gray cotton by Rowan–Purelife
I was sort of nervous using cotton instead of a wool blend, but it is knitting nicely and is soooo soft. Perfect for baby.
Lots of little girls soon to make appearances around here so we will see who gets this hat just in time for winter. A welcome to earth gift!
Darling – now I want to start this one too! I have 3 projects on needles now (although one is a flop and I either need to figure out how to fix it or rip it!)! Hobby Lobby has needles on sale though, so I could just go get more needles and start something new! I tried the Bamboo needles they have there and I LOVE them. The just have such a nice natural feel to them. Would love the Rosewood ones, but the price is a bit prohibitive! Thanks for the inspiration!
