I’m a little anxious, excited, nervous.  Another bend in the road has happened and as with most change there is mixed feelings.  I have worked part time at my church for the last couple years as the office manager.   With the arrival of Elias and the adjustments at home, we finally decided that it would be best for our family if I stayed at home.  Today is my first day as full time homemaker.  It was such a difficult decision for me, as I loved what I did at the church and my coworkers were amazing!  I will miss being with them throughout the week.  I didn’t want to disappoint anyone at my job, but then I’d think about Elias and Tony and I decided it is probably more important that I not fail them at home.  The job shift will mean changes here at home.  I will probably give you lots of tips I learn about saving cash here and there.  I’ll be walking to the co-op and grocery store.  I am going to exchange a sewing lesson with a friend for a coupon tutorial from her.  We will make it.  And we will be together more often and that is important to Tony and me.  Elias will only be 5 months once and I’ll be there for it all.  I may not love this new role everyday, but I think in the end I will cherish this time.

I can tell you that there will be GOOD changes ahead for INGRID BARLOW~quilting for the modern traditionalist!!  Lots of blog postings, new patterns, free new patterns online, MOVIE MONDAYS!  Oh, I can’t wait!

Have a wonderful weekend!
