Early last week I made the skirt that I bought fabric for. It is The Lipstick Skirt by Bananafana. (I haven’t decided if I will add the belt yet…I can always add it late
r.) After a week of just looking at it, I finally got to wear it to church. It moves really well and has a nice weight to it–very fun to run down the stairs in since it flairs out around you…makes me feel like a 5 year old again.
How great to buy fabric and get the project done right away!
I did a lot of quilting today, so I will show you soon what I have been up to.
In other news–I have been enjoying the warmer weather. Dakota and I went for a jog today. She is actually running beside me without her leash…well, for short/controlled distances. 🙂
