I pulled out a project from a while ago this afternoon. I need a quilt for a silent auction and thought this might be a good option. Center blocks are just an easy log cabin featuring the bird fabric.
I’m thinking pink and white cuddle fabric on the back with scrappy pink binding. Perfect for a little girl.
Here you can see my brain working. Throw it all on the floor and decide what I like and don’t. I “auditioned” yellows and greens for the binding but decided on the pink. I need to move my blocks around more so that I like exactly where they will end up, but this helped me figure out backing and binding. Also gives me a feel for how the finished quilt will look. I think this will come together nicely…might be hard to donate…
