We are enjoying these gorgeous fall days by exploring the land daily. One of the great things about this temporary living thing is we have 10 acres to tromp around on whenever we want!
Elias loves to go hunting like his daddy. He finds a stick and says “we stop and shoot da deer.” I feel bad for the deer, but with a hunter in the family and our dependence on wild game for the dinner table, it’s a part of life.
There are several old barn buildings on the property since it used to be a horse farm.
Grandpa cleared the sledding hill last week–we can hardly wait for snow!! [It’s so hard to wait when you’re little.]
After spending some good time out in the cool air, I gave the call for an apple cider break, and off they went.
Nothing like fresh apple cider from White Pine Orchard to refresh the body!
We each had our favorite glasses for our cider….hmmmm…
