I got some old windows and decided I needed to put them to good use, so I made up a wool pattern and we had a class at the shop. Wool is so fun to work with since you can have raw edges that don’t ravel. There are some beautiful wool pieces out there as well. One of my favorite shops I just discovered is the Woolen Needle! Wonderful people that will help you there in store or via their website. Back to the window… An easy project that you can get very creative with. In this one I just used a black background fabric and then primitively stitched all around my cut out wool pieces.
If you have an old window, try a bulletin board, chalk board, throw some cool old hooks on the bottom, paint it, leave it as is…endless possibilities. Add some character to your walls!
