Thanks for joining me again for another Movie Monday! With fall coming quickly, I thought it would be a great time to show you all how to do the blanket stitch. The blanket stitch is a great basic stitch that a lot of different projects call for. I find that I do a lot of the stitch on wool projects. I also use it on a lot of things that have a raw edge because it has a nice finishing quality. Enjoy!

thanks for covering this. i’ve been trying to figure it out and it never worked for me before. thanks again!
This is awesome. I was just doing a hand stitch on one of the reusable baby wipes, until I got my machine working. Part way through, I started doing this…and wondered if it was an actual stitch. I know NOTHING about sewing. lol Thank you for enlightening me!
Great video again. Makes me feel like getting my sewing needles out again. It has been YEARS since I have done any sewing! Like around the time McKenzie was born – Yikes – 13 + years ago!
BTW – Great job on the 1/2 marathon!
