I was at Target last week and saw these beautiful pillows that looked like they were made out of old sweaters, so I decided to take a look at what I had in my stash. I had some sweaters that I had previously felted (washed in hot water and dried in a hot dryer) so the project went together very fast with that step already done. I measured some of the pillow forms I had and then made easy covers that use buttons for closures so that I can change out the covers with the different seasons. These are my winter pillows and I am rather proud of the fact that they didn’t cost me a thing. Hand-me-down sweaters, old buttons, and reused pillow forms!
Baby Barlow at 25.5 weeks! February seems like forever away on some days, but I’m sure it will go fast. I have a feeling we are both going to enjoy all the holiday food–yay!
