You know you sew too much when…
You are talking to a co-worker–feel a prick at the back of your shoulder–reach up and pull a sewing needle from your under shirt!!!
In other news… in an attempt to avoid the dirty dishes in the kitchen, I filed a mountain of paperwork and cleaned the desk area. Yay! After all, the dishes aren’t going anywhere–they will wait for me until tomorrow.
My energy level is great right now and I am in a bit of a frazzle as I’d like to start about 10 different projects. I’m supposed to be finishing up a new quilt pattern, but instead a flannel quilt that I started 4 years ago is spread on the basement floor. I had an urge to pull out all my stamping stuff and make cards. I almost started throwing up the 3 cans of sample paint we bought today for our living room. (Blessings on whoever came up with the $2.99 paint cans for testing color!) Oh, and how about that yarn I bought for the new baby sweater…
(The camera is currently out of batteries, so you get a picture of Dakota out on a hunt this last weekend.)
